Peter Fenwick, the founder of Body Mechanics, is a skilled bodyworker from South Africa with over 16 years of experience as a personal trainer. He has extensive expertise in improving movement and restoring physical balance. Peter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Movement Sciences from the University of PLZ, where he gained a deep understanding of human anatomy and movement mechanics. He further honed his expertise by studying Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Shenzhou Institute in Amsterdam and completing a Physiotherapy program at Damelin.
In addition to his formal education, Peter is a certified Trigger Point Therapist and holds certifications from the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM) and PT Academy, allowing him to offer a holistic, results-driven approach to movement and recovery. He’s also trained in LES MILLS Programs RPM and Body Combat. He is a specialised trainer in BOSU Balance, TRX, XCO Physiotherapy, Spinning, and Advanced Kettlebell techniques.
Peter’s broad training ensures that he can tailor his approach to meet the specific needs of each individual, combining his knowledge in physical therapy with his passion for functional fitness.
